Atlas Geoflex White is a white gel adhesive for tiles, made with white cement and declared C2TE to EN 12004, for natural stone, marble, porcelain, ceramic tiles and glass mosaic on walls and floors, inside and out. White cement limits discoloration of pale stone and marble, and Atlas names it the ideal adhesive for glass mosaic and glass blocks. One 25 kg bag works at any bed depth from 2 to 15 mm and can be mixed stiff for walls or loose enough to flow out under a floor. It sits in the Renders World range of tile adhesives.
Atlas Geoflex White at a Glance
Why buyers choose the white version:
- White cement under pale stone. Atlas uses white cement here to limit discoloration of natural stone and marble, including stone that is prone to staining.
- Glass mosaic and glass blocks. Atlas names it the ideal adhesive for glass mosaic and for laying glass blocks, for its high adhesion and white colour.
- Thin bed or thick bed from one bag. 2 to 15 mm: an even substrate, an uneven one skimmed first, or an uneven one tiled straight over without levelling.
- Zero slip on walls. With water at the low end of the range, about 0.26 l per kg, tiles can be set from the top of the wall down with no support.

Silicate gel technology
A silicate gel in the mix holds back part of the mixing water, so the cement cures fully under absorbent and non-absorbent tiles alike and bonds to substrates of different absorbency. The water dose can be set over a much wider range than with traditional adhesives, and the adhesive is made for safe bonding on balconies and terraces in direct sun, both while tiling and while it sets.

Which Tiles and Which Rooms
Atlas Geoflex White fixes glazed wall tiles, terracotta, porcelain stoneware, clinker, stoneware, ceramic and glass mosaic, concrete tiles and marble or natural stone, both the kinds prone to discoloration and the kinds that are not. Tiles can be small, medium or large, up to 0.50 m² with the longer side up to 100 cm.
It goes into houses, flats, offices, schools, shops and public buildings: kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and garages, showers and washrooms that are hosed down, walkways, terraces, balconies and loggias, external slab stairs and building plinths.
Choose another adhesive for tiles over 0.50 m² or slim panels, laminated porcelain, composite boards, insulating or acoustic panels, facades and insulation systems, pools, fountains and saunas, high-traffic and industrial floors, external cantilever stairs and drinking-water tanks. Other adhesives in the same range cover those jobs.
Glass, coloured and printed tiles: fix one tile first with about 60 % of its back in the adhesive, and check after 2 to 3 days that no shade difference shows between the bedded and the unbedded areas. Follow the tile maker's advice as well.
Substrates and How to Prepare Them
Standard substrates are cement and anhydrite screeds, cement, cement-lime and gypsum plasters, and walls of aerated concrete, sand-lime or clay brick and gypsum block. Atlas Geoflex White also takes concrete, terrazzo, mineral and dispersion waterproofing coats, plasterboard, gypsum-fibre and cement-fibre boards, screeds with underfloor heating, stable paint and resin coats, OSB at least 25 mm thick on floors and 18 mm on walls, and old tiles indoors. It can be used to skim all of these flat before tiling.
- Every substrate: stable, load-bearing and seasoned, clean of dust, lime, oil, wax and old emulsion paint. Mould is cleaned off and treated with Atlas Mykos Plus.
- Uneven by more than 15 mm: level first with Atlas ZW 330, ready for tiles after about 8 hours at 5 mm and 12 hours at 10 mm. On floors a screed such as Atlas SMS 30 takes about 18 hours at 3 to 5 mm, 48 hours at 6 to 10 mm, 72 hours at 11 to 20 mm and 96 hours at 21 to 30 mm.
- Too absorbent or patchy: prime with Atlas NKP, used undiluted, or Atlas Uni-Grunt Ultra.
- Dense or hard to bond to (concrete, terrazzo, old tiles, oil paint, OSB): prime with the bonding coat Atlas Ultragrunt.
- Wet areas: waterproof first. Tiles can go on Atlas Woder E after 2 hours as a damp-proofing coat or 4 hours as a waterproofing coat, and on Atlas Woder Duo after 12 hours. More membranes are in waterproofing.
- Plaster and concrete: cement and cement-lime plaster seasoned at least 3 days per cm; gypsum plaster stronger than 4 MPa and protected in wet rooms, with gypsum skims removed; concrete at least 3 months old.
- Tile on tile, indoors only: tap-test the old tiling, remove loose tiles, wash and degrease, dull the glaze with a diamond disc and prime with Atlas Ultragrunt.
Brick and block walls get a two-coat plaster left rough before Atlas Geoflex White goes on; tiling straight onto bare masonry works only where the wall is true and fully jointed.
Mixing: Zero Slip or Full Flow
Pour a bag of Atlas Geoflex White into 6.50 to 8.25 litres of clean water and mix with a slow drill and paddle until even. Leave it for 5 minutes, mix again, and use it within about 4 hours.
- Walls: water at the low end, about 0.26 l per kg (about 6.5 litres per bag), gives zero slip.
- Floors and outside: water at the high end, about 0.33 l per kg (about 8.25 litres per bag), gives full flow under the tile.
Work between +5 °C and +35 °C for the adhesive, the substrate and the air. Do not soak the tiles.
Fixing the Tiles
- Rub a thin coat into the substrate, then add a thicker coat and comb it straight away with a notched trowel, in one direction where possible and vertically on walls.
- Lay and press each tile within about 30 minutes. At least two thirds of the back must touch the adhesive; floors and outside work need full contact, so butter the tile back too if needed. Atlas recommends this combined way for plank tiles.
- After pressing, the bed must be at least 4 mm thick and fill the whole space under the tile. Allow for warped tiles when choosing the bed.
- Slide a tile to correct it for about 20 minutes after pressing. Clear adhesive out of the joints as you go.
- Check open time with a fingertip: if adhesive sticks to the finger, keep tiling; if not, scrape it off and spread fresh.
Wash tools in clean water straight after use; set residue comes off with Atlas Szop cement remover.
How Many Bags to Order
Atlas gives consumption per square metre on an even substrate. The bag figures are worked out from it and rounded down.

A flowing floor mix (8.25 litres per bag) with a 12 mm half-round notch uses about 6.7 kg per m², so one bag covers under 4 m². Uneven substrates and buttering the tile back raise the consumption of Atlas Geoflex White; order a spare bag for large floors.
Grouting, Joints and Underfloor Heating
- Grouting: about 12 hours after fixing with Atlas Geoflex White. White and coloured grouts are in grouts and silicones. Movement joints, wall corners and gaps at baths and basins are sealed with sanitary silicone such as Atlas Silton 001 White.
- Balconies and terraces: the screed is divided into fields of at most 3 x 3 m, or up to 25 m² with extra movement joints cut into the tiling (at least four fields of up to 9 m²), sides in a ratio between 1:1 and 1:2. Screed joints carry through the tiles.
- Underfloor heating: the heated screed is fully heated up first. Tile with the heating off and switch it on after at least 14 days, or tile with it running at a steady temperature no higher than +35 °C and keep it there for 14 days. Heating bedded in the adhesive itself must be off.

Why choose the white version over grey?
For natural stone, marble, glass mosaic and glass blocks. White cement limits discoloration of pale stone and marble, and Atlas names it the ideal adhesive for glass mosaic. The grey Atlas Geoflex and Atlas Geoflex Express are separate products with their own data sheets.
Is Atlas Geoflex White an S1 adhesive?
Its declared class is C2TE: an improved cementitious adhesive with extended open time and reduced slip. A specification that asks for S1 or S2 needs that letter in the class code; the code of Atlas Geoflex White is C2TE.
How many square metres does a 25 kg bag cover?
About 18 m² of mosaic with a 4 mm notch, about 11 m² with 6 mm, about 9 m² with 8 mm, about 7 m² with 10 mm and about 6 m² with a 12 mm notch on large floor tiles.
Can it go in a shower?
Yes. Showers, washrooms and rooms washed with plenty of water are listed uses. Waterproof the floor and the splash zone first, for example with Atlas Woder E.
Can it go on a floor with underfloor heating?
Yes, Atlas Geoflex White goes on a screed that has been fully heated up. Either tile with the heating off and wait at least 14 days before switching on, or keep it running steady at no more than +35 °C for 14 days after tiling.
