The Dombud W6 is a wet plaster profile 6 mm high and 2.5 m long: a guide strip set into the plastering mortar so the float runs along a straight, fixed line on walls and ceilings. The same strip is made 10 mm high as the Wet Plaster Profile W10, and both sit in the full rendering range at Renders World.

6 mm, Not 3 mm
The figure in the name is the height of the wet plaster profile. This strip is 6 mm high on its own specification line and in the Dombud range. The only "3" in that range is a 3 m length, which the shop does not sell; every W6 here is 2.5 m long.
If the job calls for a 10 mm guide, order the W10 instead.
Working Out the Number of Strips
Count the wet plaster profile line by line. Measure each line the float will run along, divide it by 2.5 m and round up to whole strips.
- a 2.4 m high wall takes one strip per vertical line;
- a 5 m line across a ceiling is 5 ÷ 2.5 = 2 strips;
- a 6 m line is 6 ÷ 2.5 = 2.4, so three strips.
Adding all the lines into one total in metres tends to come up short, because an offcut from one line seldom fits the next.
Material and Fixing
The listing gives steel, and the photo shows a perforated metal strip; Dombud describes the W6 as made to resist corrosion and deformation. It is set into the plastering mortar, which the maker names as the quick way to fit it.

A wet plaster profile guides the face of the coat across a flat wall; it is not a corner bead. External corners in the same plaster take the aluminium wet plaster corner bead, sold in 3 m lengths.
