Śnieżka Acryl-Putz LT22 Light is a ready-to-use lightweight filler in a 250 ml tub: press it into a crack or hole, let it dry, sand it and paint. Made with ultra-light fillers, it goes on at any thickness, shrinks very little and dries without cracking, so one pass usually leaves a sound, paintable repair. What This Lightweight Filler Is For

Śnieżka makes LT22 Light for quick repairs whatever the surface: the filler closes scratches, holes, cracks and joints and leaves them ready for paint. It works indoors and outdoors.

• Walls and ceilings — gypsum plaster, cement render, concrete and plasterboard.
• Woodwork — dents and gaps in timber.
• Metal — once the metal has an anti-corrosion primer on it.

Why LT22 Light Saves Time

• Ready to use. Open the tub and start. If the filler has stiffened, stir in a little clean water.
• Any thickness in one go. Śnieżka sets no limit on the thickness of one layer, and the lightweight filler keeps shrinkage minimal at any depth, so the repair stays crack-free and flat.
• Quick to paint. A 1 mm layer dries in about 2 hours at +20 °C.
• Easy to sand. Once dry it works down easily to a smooth, snow-white surface that is ready for paint.
• Keeps for the next job. Close the tub tightly and the rest stays usable.

How to Use It

Prepare the surface

• The surface must be firm and free of dust and grease.
• Prime very absorbent or weak surfaces first with a deep-penetrating primer; the shop's primers are in the primers range.
• Give bare metal an anti-corrosion primer before filling.
• Work between +5 °C and +30 °C, for the air and the surface alike.

Fill

• Apply with a stainless steel spatula, pressing so the filler packs the hole and grips its sides. Stainless spatulas are in the spatulas and skimming blades range.
• One or two layers do most repairs. On a bigger dip, add the second layer once the first has hardened, or wet on wet.

Sand and paint

• Leave a 1 mm layer about 2 hours at +20 °C before sanding.
• Smooth the dry filler with abrasive paper or mesh. Śnieżka recommends grit 150, the grade of the Blue Dolphin 150 abrasive mesh.
• Dust off and paint. With a solvent-borne paint, wait 24 to 48 hours first.
• Wash tools in water when you finish.

How Far One Tub Goes

Śnieżka gives about 1 litre per m² for a 1 mm layer. A 250 ml tub of this lightweight filler therefore covers roughly a quarter of a square metre at 1 mm. It is a repair pot for holes and cracks, made to be sanded flat and painted, not a skim coat.

• Larger areas — for skimming and wider repairs a bigger tub such as Atlas GTA 5 kg does the job.
• Plasterboard joints — the Acryl-Putz MS30 compound for plasterboard joints is Śnieżka's product for that.

Safety and Storage

• LT22 Light contains biocides that may cause an allergic reaction. Wear protective gloves and eye protection, and keep it out of the eyes and off skin and clothing.
• Keep it away from children and avoid releasing it into the environment.
• Store the tub tightly closed between +5 °C and +30 °C, away from frost and direct sun.
