The TytanX facade rasp blade set 1200 mm is three replacement blades, each 400 mm long, with the screws to lock them in: one set re-blades the whole 1200 mm TytanX Professional facade rasp. Replacing the Blades

1. Release the screws that lock the worn blades and slide the old blades out of the aluminium profile.
2. Slide the three new blades into the profile, one after another along its length.
3. Lock them in place with the screws from the set.
4. Check that every blade sits firmly before you start rasping.

The blades can cut, and the tool can slip from the hand. Wear gloves, eye protection and work clothing when changing the blades and when rasping, and follow the maker's instructions for use.

What the Rasp Does

The facade rasp levels polystyrene on a facade, and the TytanX facade rasp blade set 1200 mm keeps the 1200 mm rasp doing that job.

• The boards — the insulation boards of an external wall system, from the range of polystyrene boards for wall insulation, are rasped flat.
• The next layer — mesh and basecoat adhesive go onto the levelled boards.
