Description
This blue window protection film is a self-adhesive roll for protecting windows, glazed panels and window frames. Proguard window protection film goes on before the work starts and keeps scratches, plaster and paint splashes off the glass, which cuts the clean-up at the end of a building, painting or DIY job. The low-tack adhesive holds without tape, and the film peels away afterwards without leaving residue. One roll is 500 mm wide and 100 m long. What Blue Window Protection Film Does
Windows are highly susceptible to scratches, plaster and paint splashes, especially during external rendering, paint spraying and decorating. The film helps you avoid extensive cleaning or even window replacement.

How to Put It On
- Prepare — the surface must be clean, sound, dust-free and dry. Adhesion is reduced on dusty surfaces, so vacuum first.
- Start at the top — remove the outer packaging, unwind about 600 mm of film and stick it to the top of the window.
- Pull down — pull the roll down towards the floor in a straight line, smoothing the film with your hands as it unwinds.
- Check — make sure the film is stuck firmly before work starts.
The roll is wound with the adhesive on the inside, so the sticky side stays clean until you unwind it. You can apply it by hand.
How Long It Can Stay On and What to Avoid
- Time — take the film off after a maximum of 40 days.
- Surfaces — use the blue window protection film on windows and other glass surfaces only. It is not for carpets; for those, use a carpet film.
- Heated windows — do not use heated windows while the film is in place.
- Delicate surfaces — test a small area first.
- Wet film — it may become slippery when wet. Mop up any spills immediately or replace the film.
- Fire — the film is not fire-retardant.
