BP20 – Window Sill Strip with Mesh
Application:
For connecting a window sill (PVC, steel, stone, galvanized) to a thermal cladding.

Installation:
The BP20 window sill strip is equipped with a special adhesive foam and a fiberglass mesh. Installation involves removing the protective film from the foam. Next, the strip is glued under the window sill – after cleaning the inner surface of the sill of dust, dirt, and oil. The next step is to embed the glass mesh integrated into the BP20 strip and cover it with a reinforcing mesh, overlapping it from above. The BP20 strip and the façade mesh should be installed in a single gluing operation.
Additional information:
The BP20 under-sill strip eliminates the so-called "wind-up" effect. This phenomenon is caused by the empty space between the sill and the thermal lining beneath it. Blowing wind creates a characteristic, unpleasant whistling sound and further cools the area around the window.
